I love the mountains and the sea - places that broaden your horizons and make you relax. I prefer the countryside and smaller towns for longer holidays, as it allows to absorb the local culture and atmosphere better. Whereas for short holidays and weekend trips I would rather choose a metropolis for its' rich cultural, culinary and nightlife experiences.

I love the feeling of freedom and accomplishment that accompanies it, especially after conquering new sites and exploring locations off the beaten track. In the city, I like to go for gentle jogs together with my young dog which luckily cannot run long distances - same as me :) I am interested in science, but due to my demanding studies, I tend to distance myself from my own field in my free time and like to read popular science books about other science topics instead.
